Cancellation Update

As many of you heard on January 3rd, the Ontario Government announced new temporary restrictions in response to the current outbreak.

This announcement included that indoor sports are not permitted for a period of at least 21 days beginning on January 5, 2022 at 12:01 am. These dates are subject to trends in public health and other health system indicators. This means that GTHL organizations, teams or players cannot participate in any indoor activities.

For EYHA this means the earliest we will restart our programs is Friday January 28th.

Update: December 31, 2021

Cancellation Extended

The Greater Toronto Hockey League announced today (December 31/21) that effective January 2 up to and including January 12, hockey activities at all levels (House League, Select, ‘A,’ ‘AA,’ and ‘AAA’), including games, practices, and tournaments, will be paused due to Public Health advice and uncertainty created around changing regulations. The pause will allow the GTHL Board of Directors to consider then-current data, regulations, information, and recommendations.
At this time we at EYHA cannot say for sure if we will resume our schedule on January 14th and/or what it will look like.  We will keep you all posted.

Wishing you all a Happy New Year.
